Accessibility A clear picture of what is and isn't possible

Camping Kotestee is a small campsite in a natural setting. This makes the grounds special, but they are not perfectly level everywhere. We want to give guests with disabilities a clear picture of what to expect, while doing our best to offer everyone a warm welcome.

The facts

  • The campsite partly occupies an old dune, so there are some modest changes in level.
  • Most paths are unpaved, with grass or coarse gravel.
  • You can park your car beside your touring pitch.
  • There is a small threshold, no more than 3 centimetres high, at the washroom entrance. There are no adapted washroom facilities.
  • The showers are level-access. One men’s shower has a grab rail and seat. The shower-token slots and washbasins are not adapted to wheelchair height.
  • Lighting around the grounds is limited to avoid disturbing wildlife.
  • Assistance animals are welcome.
